Who can grow a garden? The young the old and all those inbetween! The confirmed, infirmed and green. As Ms Smith suggested in her presentation with the KU nursing staff, just over the next hill in Rosedale, there is no age limit, just a desire to see things grow. She suggested that herb, vegetables and flowers all provide a motivation of there own. Debbie believes that the cash crops can provide incentive for teens to grow to sell! A profit motive in a sea of dirt!
So young adults and adults could grow crops at the Garden and sell them at local farmers markets or their own neighborhood.
